Flows to the Palermo Canal will be temporarily suspended on 05/12/2026 from approximately 10:00am – 12:00pm due to a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) inspection on the Department of Water Resources (DWR) power project, which is the outlet that serves the Palermo Canal.

 SFWPA and DWR staff are working in close coordination to ensure that flows can resume as quickly and efficiently as possible.
