Power Division Hydro Roving Operator
South Feather Water and Power Agency (SFWPA) is excited to announce it is recruiting for a Roving Operator in its Power Division. This vacancy is a journeyman-level position, and the Agency is seeking a candidate with demonstrable experience in power generation. The responsibilities of a Roving Operator include operating, inspecting, performing light maintenance, and placing LOTO duties at SFWPA's powerhouses and dams along the South Fork Feather River, while working alongside the rest of the Power Division team.

Wage: $55.41 to $76.18

General Job Description
Under the direction of the Operations Foreman and Power Division Manager:
- operates and performs minor routine maintenance of hydroelectric powerhouses, reservoirs, diversions, intakes, tunnels, canals, and miscellaneous equipment and facilities;
- performs a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled manual and automated tasks;
- trains, or assists in training of subordinates.
Prerequisite Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalency thereof.
- Completion of recognized apprenticeship program for hydroelectric system operators.
- Valid California driver license and satisfactory driving record.
Basic Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
